Designer confession time: I’m aware I’ve been kind of stuck in the combination of script and flat fonts. That’s because I used to think that other types of display fonts are not flexible enough for the kind of work I usually do.
But while my love for handwritten fonts won’t go anywhere, I’ve been trying to get out of this cycle and do more experimentation as I always wanted to.
That’s how I stumbled around “Flamingold” – a font by On The Spot. As a fan of the “pop art” feel for the first time in a while I was able to put in place a font outside my usual pattern. Here are some of my results.
I know a lot of people looking for a fun feel but having a hard time choosing a font scheme. Flamingold is a font that looks spontaneous and at the same time is not over the top.
